Haiti, you are in our Prayers

Let us keep our brothers and sisters in Haiti in our thoughts and prayers as they are recovering from the effects of the earthquake that devastated their country.

In addition to the gift of prayer, other ways in which we can offer assistance is by uniting our efforts with those of various agencies and organizations, which are already providing relief for our suffering brothers and sisters in Haiti.

UNLIMITED COMPASSION

When contemplating the sands, we can distinguish in them, infinite gleams of colors and if for an instant we would think that although we find these to be countless, the stars of the sky are even more, and with this of course the countless worlds, and many of them, probably with life and fullness.

Likewise, is our inner world, and likewise are our possibilities of life. We receive so much day by day! We can give so much!

When we can see in the small, like in that grain of sand, the greatness of the universe, we can also accept in our heart that the only causes of life are love and happiness, and certainly is compassion ,which is the communion with the souls, that is to say, the communion with the whole life, is the path.

COMPASSION

There are days darker than the night and there are nights in which the darkness seems that never ends . For this reason , we have to be aware of the need of solidarity for everyone . But there is something important to consider , something that perhaps could be confused , the compassion is never pity . The compassion is a commitment of solidarity , fraternal understanding and unconditional Love .

For example , a very dear person is hungry , thirsty , cold and you try to help , to attend to cooperate as a father to son , as a brother to another brother , as if he was someone very close and , it turns out that this someone is the whole humanity . It is not only one person , but all the persons . Therefore , the Compassion does not have to do with the expressions of poor little one or what an unlucky person .

The compassion is to share with happiness , compassion is to teach , is to take care , is to preserve , and is to improve .But if my actions and service are based on pity , or sorrow , then we would have to call pitiful love to love , and is not like that . We love and cooperate and do it because we are happy to give Love . And this makes us attentive , alert , vigilant and cautious .

We will find in the category of compassion , the purest virtue , the united solidarity , while the discrimination , selfishness , and preferences stay behind . What is important here is what is good , the respect , the opportunity and the service which are committed to give the best . What is the compensation ? The happiness of seeing a heart , a society , a universe .

But the compassion goes beyond because the constant compassion strengthens us , fills us , purifies us , and truly shows the way of Love to our fellow beings and of course is the path to receive the grace of God . Nothing can develop if there is no compassion . It is synonymous of progress , of balance , of maturity even of identity in the compassion . And life deserves that we give everything for compassion because there we discover the whole , that is to say , the truth and compassion are not only limited to the man but they join us with the whole nature

Compassion is to respect the plants , the animals , the culture , the sensibility of others which can be unknown to us , but which makes us know that everything contributes to a collective , integral good .

How not to feel this commitment every day ? This even tells us because how not to cry with the one that cries? how not to laugh with the one that laughs ? how not to give our food and to share with the one in need who ever and wherever be Don't we all share the same house , the same home which are the earth , the life ?

The compassion becomes stronger , rises and stands up as a titan opposed to any injustice . And also the compassion is humble , magnificent and generous .What would happen to life without compassion ?

In synthesis the compassion is the practical , purest and most sacred science of Love .
